My name is Sophia Agnes, creator behind Nine Moons of April and based in the Netherlands.
My favorite thing to do is illustrate. Drawing is a way of daydreaming and it gives me the freedom to create my own fairytales.
I draw with aquarel, pencil, inkt and procreate. I also enjoy discover new materials. My favorite paper to work on is bamboo paper.
The way a fairytale world arises on paper is magical to me and I try to catch this magic and flow in my work.
I get my inspiration from reading and listening to fairytales (podcasts), folkklore and poems. Besides the fairytales I also like to put some spirituality,magic and the love for nature in my work.
Sometimes I write little stories and poems with my work for a finishing touch.
